CHAD O'CONNOR
Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets
Chad O’Connor joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in June 2004. As an Executive Managing Director of capital markets with MMCC, Mr. O’Connor is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional, and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and bridge lenders.
During his career with MMCC, Mr. O’Connor was honored as MMCC’s top originator in 2007 and has been a top 5 producer for the past fifteen years. He was a recipient of the firm’s prestigious national achievement award in 2007, 2010-2023 and has received a sales recognition award every year since 2006. He is a 8-time Chairman's Club winner and 5 time Circle of Excellence.
Mr. O’Connor is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology. He holds a real estate salesperson’s license from the California Department of Real Estate. He is currently active in the Commercial Realtors Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Developing Leaders.
Bruce Nechanicky joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in November 2022. As an Associate Director with MMCC, Mr. Nechanicky is responsible for financial analysis and marketing within the team.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Nechanicky served as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy for over 20 years. In 2017 He graduated from BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) training as the Officer In Charge of Class 323. Mr. Nechanicky is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also was a 4 year lettermen of the nationally ranked Navy Midshipmen Lacrosse team.

ANDREW FINMAN
Associate Director
Andrew Finman joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in April 2022. As an Associate Director in MMCC's Capital Markets group, he is responsible for underwriting, debt placement, financial analysis, and transaction execution across a wide range of commercial real estate asset types. He works closely with borrowers and lenders throughout the financing process, assisting with transactions from underwriting through closing.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Finman served as an Associate Banker with PNC Bank, where he supported business banking clients and gained experience in commercial lending and relationship management.
Mr. Finman graduated from the University of Washington, where he studied Sociology and Business Administration. He is a licensed California real estate salesperson.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys freediving, spending time outdoors and with his dog Delilah.
Jake Thiede
Transaction Manager
Jake Thiede joined the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in October 2025. As a Transaction Manager in MMCC's Capital Markets group, he is responsible for working closely with borrowers, sellers, agents, lenders, title companies, and others serving as the primary point of contact in order to facilitate a smooth loan process across all parties from loan origination to loan funding.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Thiede gained his commercial experience on the lending and legal side of transactions, where he served as a Commercial Lending Lead Processor with Trustone Financial CU, Commercial Lending Specialist, with Bridge Law Group, and Commercial Lending Transaction Specialist with Axos Bank.
Mr. Thiede graduated from the Winona State University, where he studied Journalism and Political Science.
In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his Golden Retriever Kaia and playing sports.
